Hunt A Killer had seen impressive organic growth in its first two years as an innovator in the subscription game category. When Hunt A Killer engaged Action Mary, the challenge was to help the company reach its next level of growth while positioning its founder and CEO as a visionary entrepreneur.

Action

We set to work developing a media outreach strategy, including crafting an irresistible backstory, founder story, and business story to engage lifestyle and business reporters. We implemented a targeted product sampling program to key media, aligned media outreach to relevant seasonal events, and emphasized messaging that captured the excitement and thrill of the murder mystery storyline, and the CEO’s vision for a new style of board game.

Since 2019, Action Mary has generated high profile placements for the company, its founder and its products inprint, broadcast, podcast, and online media. The company has been featured in more than 600 articles including Forbes, Business Insider, CNN, GeekWire, Inc., and USA Today. To date there have been more than 10.1 billion impressions and counting.
